CAHME Announces MHSA Reaccreditation

(March 3, 2025) — The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) Board of Directors approved the reaccreditation of the Georgetown University School of Health Master of Science in Health Systems Administration (MHSA) program for a seven year term effective February 25, 2025.
The MHSA at Georgetown equips aspiring leaders with skills to shape the future of health care. It offers students competency-based, practice-centered curriculum led by faculty active in public health, research, and systems of care leadership.
“Our accreditation is evidence that we have a quality curriculum driven by a competency model that reflects the needs of employers,” said Christopher J. King, Ph.D., MHSc, FACHE, Dean, School of Health.
CAHME is the only organization recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation to grant accreditation to individual academic programs offering a graduate degree in healthcare management.
“CAHME’s mission is to advance the quality of healthcare management education globally. CAHME-accredited programs have successfully navigated a complex and careful accreditation process managed by experts in the study and practice of healthcare management,” said Anthony Stanowski, DHA, FACHE, president and CEO of CAHME. “The program meets rigorous standards set by leading academics and practitioners. We recognize their commitment to the field.”
