Global Health Alum Transforms Cambodian River Waste into Sustainable Fashion
Alyssa Erin Kardos Loera (NHS’21) credits her Georgetown experience with preparing her for her current role as CEO of ReMade in Cambodia, which she founded while serving as a Fulbright English teaching assistant in that country. Working with local young designers, the enterprise collects and then transforms textile river waste into sustainable wearable products.

Family Engagement
The School of Health celebrates the important role that parents and families play in their student’s educational development and college years.
From the moment your student arrives on Georgetown University’s campus at New Student Orientation, our faculty and staff look forward to developing a strong relationship with members of the school’s parent community. This relationship exists through Commencement and beyond.
