Allan D. Angerio, PhD, is an associate professor emeritus and associate dean at Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies (NHS). Before his retirement from his role as a tenured professor in the Department of Human Science, Dr. Angerio spent nearly 40 years on the faculty of Georgetown University, mentoring and teaching thousands of students. His teaching focused on Human Biology, Pathophysiology, and Microbiology. His research focused on cellular messengers and inflammation. He is a premedical advisor at NHS and chair of the early assurance program at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
