King Selected for Leadership Greater Washington Signature Program

(October 23, 2023) — School of Health Dean Christopher J. King, PhD, MHSc, FACHE was selected to join the Leadership Greater Washington (LGW) Signature Program Class of 2024. King joins more than 50 esteemed executive leaders across the region, competitively selected to serve as a collective force for social change.

The LGW Class of 2024 was announced in September. The intensive 10-month program connects a diverse group of regional changemakers to unite for a greater shared sense of purpose and create extraordinary impact.

“This year’s Signature Program class represents some of the most impactful, dynamic changemakers in the region, says Doug Duncan, Leadership Greater Washington President & CEO. “We are excited to welcome Christopher and the rest of his cohort to connect, collaborate, and confront the most important issues that face our communities.”

“There is an opportunity for the School of Health to make a deeper impact in the District of Columbia and surrounding communities. Through these interactions, I am amplifying our mission and exploring opportunities for collective impact,” said King. “I am honored to join esteemed leaders across the region to learn and identify transformational opportunities to foster a region where all people can achieve optimal health and wellbeing.”
