“Through the past weeks, you all have truly shined in your resiliency, stepping up to the plate to handle the changes and challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Your grace, your dedication, your compassion, and your curiosity have inspired me and my colleagues. This moment has magnified the values-based character you have nurtured and displayed during your years at Georgetown.”

“You have shown a deep pursuit of knowledge in and outside the classroom, profound care and concern for communities around the globe, and creativity and commitment on our own Hilltop campus. As we look to the future, I will put this simply: the world needs you and your many talents.”

“Please know: My faculty colleagues and I will be cheering for you not only today, but into the future – thankful that you have chosen this path in life.”
