Georgetown School of Health Expands Yellow Ribbon Support for Graduate Students
(September 8, 2026) — Beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year, Georgetown University’s School of Health will offer expanded tuition support for eligible veterans and military-connected students pursuing graduate degrees through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The Yellow Ribbon Program, a collaboration between Georgetown University and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), designed to help eligible students cover tuition and fees that exceed the amount provided through the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the School of Health has no annual cap on graduate-level Yellow Ribbon Program funding per student.
The expanded benefit can help make graduate education more accessible to veterans and other eligible military-connected students interested in advancing their education and careers in health.

Qualifying for the Yellow Ribbon Program at Georgetown School of Health
To qualify for graduate-level Yellow Ribbon funding, students must be eligible for Post-9/11 veterans education benefits and enrolled in an eligible degree-seeking program to qualify for Yellow Ribbon funding. Eligibility and the amount of assistance available depend on individual circumstances.
