About the Department

The Department of Health Management and Policy offers dynamic academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Students have the opportunity to learn from faculty members who have backgrounds in academic and practice-oriented settings. In their programs, students have rich classroom experiences, as well as hands-on experiential learning opportunities.

Undergraduate Program

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management & Policy (HCMP) is a four-year program that develops the foundation of a career in health services administration with an innovative curriculum.

Graduate Programs

Master of Science in Health Systems Administration

The Master of Science in Health Systems Administration (MHSA) program equips aspiring leaders with skills to shape the future of health care. The CAHME-accredited curriculum is competency-based, practice-centered, and led by faculty active in public health, research, and systems of care leadership.

Master of Science in Addiction Policy & Practice

The Master of Science in Addiction Policy & Practice (ADPP) trains leaders in the addiction policy field by providing a comprehensive understanding of addiction, including public health and criminal justice policy, basic science, and evidence-based prevention, treatment and recovery.
