CURA: A Health Care Pre-Orientation Program

CURA is a pre-orientation program for first-year students who wish to pursue any career in the health care field.

CURA seeks to provide students with the opportunity to begin an educational journey in health care systems through a variety of activities, such as speaking engagements, clinician panels, direct service, community engagement, and clinical shadowing, through a variety of medical clinicals sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington.

CURA provides housing and meals for all participants at no cost. Previous experience with health care, social justice work, or community service is not a requisite to apply. We hope that regardless of prior experience, CURA will be an opportunity for development as a future health care professional. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Cost

There is no fee for CURA. Meals and housing will be provided.
