At Georgetown, we believe that your education is an investment in your future. To support early- and mid-career professionals, the Master of Science in Health Systems Administration is offered at a discounted tuition rate. For the 2026-2027 academic year, this represents total tuition savings of $23,184 — 20% compared to the standard graduate tuition rate.

Tuition costs exclude individual health care or health insurance premiums, books and supplies, student fees, travel to and from on-campus intensives, and incidental expenses. View more detailed information about tuition and fees on the Office of Revenue and Receivables website.

Tuition Discounts and Scholarships

MHSA students may be eligible for a range of tuition discounts and scholarship opportunities offered by Georgetown University and the MHSA program. These opportunities are designed to support working professionals and reflect the University’s commitment to access and value in graduate education.

Merit-Based Financial Aid

MHSA students may be considered for merit-based scholarships awarded by the program. These competitive awards are based on academic achievement, professional experience, leadership potential, and the strength of an applicant’s overall profile.

Applicants who complete their MHSA application by the January 15 priority deadline are given priority consideration for these awards, and no separate scholarship application is required — your admissions application serves as the basis for evaluation. These merit awards are applied directly to tuition and may be combined with other eligible discounts as permitted by university policy.

Federal Worker Scholarship

Georgetown University is offering Federal Worker Scholarships to support those pursuing graduate study, including the MHSA. Eligible current or recently separated federal civil government employees may receive a 10% scholarship on base tuition, along with a waiver of the application fee.

Georgetown Alumni Tuition Discount

Georgetown University offers a tuition scholarship for eligible undergraduate alumni who enroll in certain graduate programs, including the MHSA. Current seniors and undergraduate alumni from the Classes of 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 who matriculate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 are eligible for this discount, which applies to 10% of base tuition and includes a waiver of the program application fee.

10% Tuition Discount for Employees from Eligible Organizations

The MHSA program offers a 10% tuition discount to select employees of health care organizations that partner with the program. This benefit is designed to support working professionals who are advancing their leadership and administrative skills while continuing their careers in health care.

Eligibility requirements, participating organizations, and application procedures are shared by the MHSA program upon inquiry or admission. This program-specific discount may be combined with other funding opportunities and supports partner organizations in strengthening the leadership capacity and competencies of their workforce.
